Standards of Cover
Clackamas Fire District #1 is one of the largest fire protection districts in Oregon, serving over 220,000 citizens and encompassing more than 235 square miles. The service area includes the cities of Damascus, Happy Valley, Johnson City, Milwaukie, and Oregon City; and the unincorporated areas of Beavercreek, Carver, Clackamas, Clarkes, Highland, Oak Lodge, Redland, and Sunnyside.
Additionally, Boring Fire District #59 contracted with Clackamas Fire for fire and emergency medical services beginning July 1, 2014. Under this five year agreement, Clackamas Fire also services Boring Fire District #59’s communities of Barton, Boring, and Eagle Creek. As per the agreement, Boring Fire District #59’s area will be managed under the Clackamas Fire Standards of Cover (SOC). As such, the SOC was updated and now covers the entire service area.
