On the site since 1973, Station 4 was rebuilt in 1999 and staffs Paramedic Truck 4. The station serves the Lake Road, Westwood, Johnson City, and Webster neighborhoods, as well as the Milwaukie Expressway and the I-205 freeway.

Assigned at Station 4 are twelve career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (a lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and two firefighters. The station also houses the north battalion chief (Battalion 2) and Heavy Rescue 4 from its quarters. Three battalion chiefs work three separate 24 hour shifts.

Station 4 responded to 1,353 calls for emergency service in the calendar year 2007.
