Originally constructed in the 1950’s, Station 6 was remodeled and seismically updated in 2000. Station 6 serves the City of Happy Valley as well as the Otty and Sunnyside neighborhoods. The station staffs Paramedic Engine 6 with nine career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (a lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and a firefighter. Brush 6 and is also quartered at Station 6.

Station 6 responded to 714 calls for emergency service in the calendar year 2007.
