Self Inspection Program

The self inspection program is not currently accepting new applications as our inspectors and fire companies are working to identify construction features and solar power installations which are special hazards during firefighting. This information will be provided to crews responding to fires so they have information that may be critical in protecting occupants and firefighters.

Clackamas Fire District #1 has implemented a Business Self Fire Inspection Program. This program is free of charge and is designed for low hazard business occupancies that are interested in conducting a self fire inspection. Examples of low hazard occupancies include: small offices, small service shops, small retail shops and markets, small businesses, etc. Please note that not all businesses will be approved to participate in the program due to nature of the business. By participating in this program, you will be taking an active safety role in your business and community.

Anyone can use this program to conduct a self fire inspection, but you must register and get pre-approved in order for it to count as your official fire inspection. Once you register and are approved, you will be emailed a confirmation of enrollment including other pertinent details. Each year you will be emailed a reminder when your inspection is due to complete again. Our intent is to empower you to identify and eliminate common fire hazards. This will allow you to maintain a fire safe work environment without a visit by a Fire Inspector.

Performing self fire inspections will promote and encourage a safe environment for you and your staff, your business, and your customers. Please follow the links below to use this program but you will need the registration password to submit it to the Clackamas Fire District#1 Fire Prevention Division. Thank you very much for your participation in this proactive fire safety program.
