At 10:49 pm on Thanksgiving night Clackamas Fire District responded to a report of a house fire at 19371 South End Road in Oregon City. The initial call to dispatch said that there was someone still inside of the structure. Engine 17 was quickly on scene and found a single wide mobile home with a large amount of fire showing from the back half of the home. Firefighters immediately started to fight the fire while the Truck company went in to search for a possible victim. It was reported that the victims bedroom was in the back half of the home which was fully involved in fire. After the fire was under control the victim was located in an area that was believed to be her bedroom. There were three other people at home when the fire broke out and they all were able to get out and call 911. Fire investigators were called to the scene and the fire is under investigation. Clackamas County Sheriff, Oregon City Police and the Medical Examiner were also on scene.

It is unknown if smoke detectors were present or working at this time but make sure you have working smoke alarms in your home.
